Service manual есть, но там про ошибки ни слова
Диагностического софта и шнурка нет. У меня есть шанс его поднять? |

такая же история Philips dvdr 985 те же ошибки!
Менял софт результатов нет!
Описания error code искал везде -не нашел!
Но я нашел такой же рабочий dvdr 985 методом подбора блоков понял что дело в плате цифроаналог декодера в 985 он находиться слево от блока лазерной головки(2платы одна над другой) возможно error cod "AB ........" это и есть Analog board.
Что в нем могло сгореть ?
Даже не знаю что с ним делать.Но теперь могу с уверенностью сказать неисправность в цифроаналог декодере!

open your philips dvd player (you need a t-10 screw driver. those are these screw drivers that look like little stars at the end.) before make shure again your philips dvd player's power cord is unpluged!
then you will see three boards. one of these three boards is the one with the actual player on it. and on this board you will find a white socket marked with the four wite numbers 1602. it has seven pins. this socket you have to connect to a free rs-232 with nine pins on your pc (i.e. the com2). so you can access the "secret" philips service menu.
this maybe sounds easy but it is still a bit tricky. tricky - because you need such a very special connector cable which obviously only philips has. and they charge you about 80 euros for that (as rsstx told me - on whose helpful informations my post relies).
but by chance i found a far cheaper way to build such a link cable: all you need is a very cheap logitech mouse (there are models for 6 euro). a soldering iron and a cheap and simple 9 pin rs-323 socket.
now comes the making of the connector cable: open the logitech mouse. the cord that goes into the mouse is connectet to the mouse panel with exactly the seven pin socket you need. pull it out - and one side of the connector cable is ready ;-) now on the other side of the cable cut off the ps2 or the serial plug. (don't be afraid! the mouse was only 6 euro). then skin the cord on this end - so that you will have six small cables there. and now: solder these cables to the 9 pin rs-232 socket. the colors of the cables at both ends will help you to identify on which pin to solder which cable. there is a table by rsstx on the internet already that shows the pinouts:
7pin (logitech) --> 9pin (rs232)
1 ----> 2
2&5 --> 5
3 ----> 3
4 ----> 8
6 ----> 7
(the pins on the logitech connector are counted from left to right. actuall logitech should only have 6 pins connected - so that right is where one pin is missing)
now the cable is ready. connect it to the dvd socket and to a free com-port in your pc. before make shure again your philips dvd player's power cord is unpluged!
then open a terminal software like hyperterminal (included in windows). establish a com-port connection with the right com-port selected, 19200 b/s, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit and no controll flow. after you openden the connection plug in the power cord of your dvd player. now a startup screen of the philips diagnostic software appears.
enter the main menu. under miscellaneous go to the nvram section and reset it. now you can disconnect again. the connector cable also has to be removed from the dvd player. start your dvd player and reenter the original p-code for your model. for mine it worked. i have a dvd 722. rsstx did it with a dvd 950/955/956. and it should work with many other philips players. |

| dublon, почитай повнимательнее там, где взял эту инфу, возможно, они чего-нить про диагностику говорят. А вообще-то, может, она уже встроена в аппарат. Поделись ссылкой на источник этой инфы, плиз. |

Про коды ошибок" AB......." и "DB........" там ни слова да и в инете вряд ли найдете их описания!

Диагностика встроенна в апарат:
1.вытащить шнур из разетки
2.нажать и удерживать кнопку Play
3.всунуть вилку в разетку удерживая кнопку Play увидев на табло BUSY 22 отпустить кнопку Play
Шкала начнет уменьшаться и когда дойдет до 0
на табло должно быть или PAS(все OK) или FAIL(неисправность).
только при ошибках AB..... тяжело запустить этот тест и самое главное он проходит удачно мол все OK!? а все далеко не OK!

В моем случае самодиагностика не запускается.
Впрочем, клиент уже забрал аппарат и понес его к коллегам из другого сервиса-ему надо "бегом".
ИМХО он еще ко мне вернется, так что тему не закрываю  |

| Аппарат работает со шнуром с простым гиппертерминалом, так что спецсофт ему не нужен!!! |

| Все ето ерунда.Терминал при FAIL коннекте зависает.Прогрел всю електронику-тоже ничего.Ето есть аппаратный глюк.EEPROM,NVRAM трогать не надо.Если попередергивать шнур от БП к АВ,то иногда он работает.Итог-либо ресет, либо БП.Жду результат |
